Aramsa ~ The Garden Spa
The Aramsa Experience
"...embodies care, comfort and healing"
Aramsa ~ The Garden Spa is the pioneer garden spa in Singapore that embodies a new lifestyle experience for Singapore's seasoned spa goers to enjoy an exotic resort like spa ambiance in Singapore.
Founded on the belief that Nature is the greatest healer, Aramsa ~ The Garden Spa infuses universal natural remedies with botanical extracts from the earth and sea.
Holistically immersed within the lush greenery of a national park, Aramsa Spa has uniquely designed treatment rooms, each presenting an eclectic mix of contemporary design and seamless spaces in harmony with the garden ambience that brings the outside in.
Did the 90 minutes Aramsa Touch
Wonderful service and friendly staff. Receptionist was polite and though I was a little late, she arranged for a later session allowing me to enjoy the facilities before the massage.
Loved the garden atmosphere and outdoor showers. Felt like I was away on a spa holiday and not in Singapore. The only thing that brought me back to reality was the price tag. :)
A little on the pricey side, but I do love the ambience and would be back when I feel the need to escape to the outdoors again. The showers are definitely a big plus for me!
Massage is quite good but i'm only giving 3 stars because it's hard to make a booking on weekends. Do consider this if you want to sign up a package with them.
A tranquil and peaceful place located amidst the greenery. Tried their Tropical Java Lulur couple massage at V-day promotional rate in 2013. Simply love their bathroom which was decorated with rustic wooden furniture! Enjoyed the massage and their outdoor bath and their therapists are very courteous and professional. Find their normal massage price abit pricey.
In a word: Lush.
That is the feeling Aramsa Garden Spa evokes in me whenever I pay them a visit. Nestled in the heart of Bishan Park, the spa is a tropical oasis that provides an array of services such as massages, scrubs, facials, and weight loss therapy. There is also a laser skin care facility on site should you desire a more intensive skin treatment.
After checking in at the front desk, you are led to an adjacent building where the changing and treatment rooms reside. There, you change into robes and commence to have some ginger tea in their private sitting room. Treatment rooms are clean, chic, and have a view of the garden, which in itself is very calming and relaxing (couples rooms also available). After your treatment, you are led back to the sitting room where tea and cookies are offered before you head to the changing room where you may choose to unwind in the steam room, have a shower semi-outdoors, and change back into your clothes.
What I enjoy about them is their non-pushy demeanor. They won't try to hard sell you on products and packages unless you seem interested, and they don't chase you out after your treatment is over. You are allowed to take your time, unwind, enjoy the beautiful surroundings, and just relax.
The only downside to this place is that they are somewhat pricey, so be prepared to fork out the cash for your visit there. This is definitely a luxury spa - there are no dodgy thinly partitioned walls or unsavory therapists/products. If you're into ambiance and great services, this is the place for you.
Want to enjoy a relaxing massage in lush greenery and not pay exorbitant prices? Aramsa would be your answer. It's not the cheapest spa around but you can hardly beat the neat location in the newly revamped Bishan Park 2.
Upon signing in, you'd be led to the changing room where a yutaka awaits. Security is safe and your belongings will be locked up while you enjoy your massage. Outdoor rain shower and sauna facilities are available on site and you can use them after your session. Chill out at the comfortable lounge with the complimentary ginger tea and biscuits while you wait for your therapist.
The rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are comfortable. I went for the Aramsa touch massage (1h) and it was very relaxing. Friend did the intense massage and she was very satisfied with the firm massage.
For regular massages, you could sign a package. $999 for 10 sessions of 1h massages. Pick from their 108-128 range of massages and they are all charged as part of the package. You could share the package with your friends or family too.
Will definitely be back. I spotted an outdoor bath tub in the spa room. ;)
What triggered an impromptu massage session was because of a headache.
Massage is one of the best cure for me when I have headache and it is proven to help my headache with my massage therapist at Qi Mantra. I was told that because my neck and shoulders are so stiff from using computer (work hazard?) for long hours that it makes me have headaches.
My usual massage place is fully booked so hubby gave me a nice surprise and brought my to Aramsa The Garden Spa.
Its kinda extravagant for a last minute massage since a massage for 2 will set us back about SGD$ 400.
Nevertheless, Im not arguing but I did question if it is really necessary.
I did the Inner Respite massage and hubby did Huna Huna. He kept giggling during the massage.
For first time customer, you can a free scrub worth SGD$ 68.
You can go to your appointment early so you can enjoy the steam room and sauna. They also have a very nice lounge where you can have some ginger tea (yums!) and biscuit. I love that they stock the latest edition magazines. Some places have so backdated magazine, turn off.
Overall a very good and relaxing experience.
Sometimes I dont know whether to be thankful for my course for being able to experience such things, or scold my course for making us spend money. Haha. But anyway, I dont mind spending for spa! Body massage at a established spa can be pretty costly yknow. At least $100+. Lucky we had special rates for 3 spas to go to. I tried looking for online deals, but most of them requires us to be 21 years old and above. Pfffft.
Simin and I went for Aramsa Spa at Ang Mo Kio/Bishan Park II. Cabbed there from Bedok cause we wanted to be there early to use steam and sauna. Like a shiok but we were disappointed :/
Located in the middle of a park, this garden spa really does live up to its name and the awards won.
Filled in the mandatory form and was given a tour of the spa. Its pretty big inside. Cant tell from the exterior eh. And the rooms were oh so relaxing! Cant wait to bring my future boyfriend here and make him pay. Lol.
This was one of the rooms. I think almost all has a bathtub leh. The designs are all so pretty! I also want one in my house in future!!
Then we were brought to the waiting area. I thought we were waiting for our locker keys cause they said not enough now. But the Indian couple who came after us, got their locker keys and could change into the robes! In the end, we didnt even get to use the steam + sauna + bathe. I was looking forward to it lo. Sian.
Free tea of course must drink.
Im very anal about toilets I swear. I cannot take dirty toilets with footprints or hair all over. Every time I go to a hotel, I need to wash the whole area before I feel clean. I really hate seeing hair (thats not mine) on the floor or on the bed. So yucky please.
Anyway, their toilet so nice and clean and cosy. Hahahaha. I seriously dont mind just sitting there instead of the waiting room. Cause it was cooler in the toilet. You can find all the necessities you need like hair gel, comb, hair dryer, cotton wool etc.
One of their showers in the toilet.
Sucks that I couldnt bathe there. Dunno why Simin and I have the mentality that we come all the way to Aramsa Spa, must use all their facilities. Hahaha.
We were taken to the couples room. Got outdoor shower leh. Like not in Singapore already.
Bathtub inside. Our treatment doesnt include any bathing or anything. Only a foot soak + body massage.
It was pretty okay. I enjoyed the one I did in KL more though. Kinda painful and ticklish at some points. Lol. She said my muscles are very tensed. Duh. Projects + reports = stress. I was trying to relax and sleep or something. But its hard to sleep when someone is causing you pain. Best part was the heavy rain, hearing the raindrops hitting the roof above you. #bliss
My whole body was super oily after treatment and we couldnt bathe for at least 2 hours for maximum results. The bus ride home was super uncomfortable cause my arms and legs are so sticky.
I wanna come back and try out ALL their facilities. Including the bathtub. Can imagine how shiok it is already.
The spa was good overall, massage and all. Though the steamer got us abit there but we survived the 15mins sauna and I ended up red liker lobster.
Kkk this picture is supposed to show that my face is red but like cant see leh tmd. Plus me is luvinnnn my hairzzzzzzz!
So as I was saying, our lockers were huge with sufficient space, we were there pretty early thats why we can go steam and all lol. Showered before our massage and both Shuqing and I were separated away from Lala
Massage was really pretty good, found out that my body is really tense and whenever she do something to me, I can feel the cracks and all plus for the fact Im coughing. Swear it was really awkward when we had to wear those.
