I had the luxury of a two hour massage at this place. My husband and I went to the River Valley Road location which was clean and somewhat relaxing.
We had no wait and were immediately placed into a room. Basically, each spartan treatment room had walls, but no ceiling. As a result you could hear all the movement, chatter and sometimes the actual massage movements from other rooms.
Since it was the first time I've ever had a massage outside of Hawaii, I wasn't sure of their protocol. So when I was shown into the room, I noticed a folded towel and a rolled up/smooshed paper towel (at least that it what it looked like in the dim light.) I peeked out twice to look for the masseur to ask for instructions, but no one was around. When she finally returned she looked at me like "why are you still dressed?" I tried to ask what to do, but she only spoke Chinese. After a few minutes of attempted conversation and gestures, she unrolled the paper towel thing and then I could see it was a disposable underwear. A-HA! I understood then what to do!
I decided to try a Thai style massage and hubby had a Deep Tissue Massage. Basically, our massages were OK. She was strong on my legs where I hurt the most, but only medium pressure on my back where I actually like the pressure firm. I have never had my back bent and cracked, my neck twisted, or my hips cracked before. Interesting experience.....
Hubby's massage was OK too. He actually likes his pressure on the intense side. Unfortunately it wasn't as hard has likes it, but it was still OK.
Either way, by the end of two hours we were beyond relaxed and ready for the following day's 16 hours of airplane travel home.
