I remember Snip Avenue sending earthquakes to the world when they advertised $3.80 haircuts.
Once our eyes stopped widening, they're now taking it to another level - $0.80 haircuts for a promotional period. WHAT?! And yes, they've answered your first question with the liner below the poster: Please be assured that all hair stylists of Snip Avenue salons are certified professionals.
A hair dye was listed as $7.80 - which is cheaper than bottles of DIY hair dyes sold in stores. I went in once, in a last minute attempt to cover up hair roots. Before the session, I was offered additional options like treatments which you'd better take up, because no one dyes hair without giving it a smoothing treatment later on. I was then advised to change the dye to 'branded' dyes, which also cost more. It was definitely not $7.80 at the end.
I've also stepped in for express pedicures before ($8.80), the colours weren't OPI colours and it was very fuss-free. The result was slightly better than what I would have done at home, and it saved me from the tedious "waiting for it to dry" time.
Just discovered that they've ventured into back massages too... Should I?
