Jantzen Salon is one of the better salons in Jurong Point if you are looking for a haircut. Nothing really to rave about but at the very least, you should get a pretty good cut and wash for the price. If there was a hierarchy among salons, Jantzen along with Jean Yip would be the better ones in heartland malls such as Jurong Point. Good quality products are used at Jantzen with brands such as Kerastase.
Jantzen would be good for a cut and wash or a perm. If you're looking to do more like hair treatment or coloring, look elsewhere.
What differentiates a bad hairdresser vs. a good one is whether or not they can give the hardest to manage hair a good cut that grows out nicely.
I have one of the hardest to manage hair with waves that has a mind of their own. For over 10 years, I always flet rebonding was the best invention ever, which i wont need a good hairdresser.
Now with my pregnancy i finally see my natural hair once again. VIsited this guy Desmond @ Jurong Point Jantzen.. been 3 days and so far , my lions mane still looks easy to manage (not without the blowdryer though). Feel comfortable with him.as he does not attempt to small talk too much. Lets hope he stays on so I can get him to handle my hair after Beanie comes out.
i went to Jantzen Jurong point (Wayne) last month bcos i was in a bad mood and i needed a hair cut. LOL My gf recommended him.
I would say he is good and he dont really talk unless you ask him stuff. I cant stand hair stylist who keeps talking and talking when you dont feel like talking at all...
