My experience though tells me that I should not choose red for my hair next time!! If you do not know, red dye actually would cause stains on your towels or clothes in the first week of colouring. and soon, when it fades, it becomes golden brown; and the colour fades fast
Still, i would like to recommend chapter 2 at marina square if you want to highlight your hair! The service there is great! and the norm colours like brownish tones are all quite lasting! They also often have promotions if you are thinking of having 2 colours on your hair:) Quite a good deal.. currently, I am having copper brown and dark brown as my highlights. (but yeah, it was done kinda long ago) haha
The thought of confinement in the super hot month of June led me to CHOP off my hair.. haha.. no qualms at all! It is a load off and Im really thankful for Nick of Chapter 2, Marina Square! I just needed to tell him I want a short crop that is fuss free (read no styling needed) and suits my face shape.. off he went! snip snip snip..
The last time I went to him to cut my hair was after I gave birth the Shauna.. guess having a year-end baby makes pony-tail confinements easy to pass this is the other haircut he gave
Thanks Nick!! Have received compliments for my new short-do Haha and apparently, for once, Shauna and I look somewhat alike!
The young male stylist was one of the few stylists in the salon. He is quite chatty, approachable and friendly. He was able to put me at ease and is able to give me a few recommendations of the hair colouring. However, I was abit upset to see that my hair colour was so much lighter than what I was able to accept. Usually light hair colour made the hair look dry and straw-like and that was the last thing I ever wanted but that was what I got.
The people in this salon gave me the vibes of being ah-bengs and ah-lians but are in fact pretty friendly and down-to-earth.
As you know, I cut my hair and did treatment recently!
Better now? Hee.. Cost me $148 in total lor! I did it at Marina Square Chapter 2! The person who did for me is a senior creative hair stylist, Fion, so it charged me more! But totally worth it cos she is very detailed! I like!
ive been going to the various braches of chapter 2 for quite a while already.. the salon managers are all quite good especially marina square
think chapter 2 is not bad. esp nick @ marina sq, priscilla @ plaza sing & jay @ jurong pt
Todaes program is very packed.. keke.. 1stly, I have booked for my hair appointment 11.30am at Marina Square Chapter 2.. white hair keep growing and guess its time to repaint them back.. keke.. I told the manager cum creative stylist Jeff that I only got 2 hrs for my hair colour and wonders if he could make it in time.. wow.. to my surprise my hair colour and treatment really completed in 2 hrs time.. he is really gd and professional man..
chapter 2 at MS sucks. I went for my soft rebonding in early Jun done by Fion. She didnt do a good job, she jus clamp those area with curls. One month later my curls appeared. When I called her, she said if I wanna redo the affected parts they are gg to charge me fringe rebonding fee i.e. $32 (after GSS discount). I wrote in to complain. Subsequently I went to Fion to get it redone. But this time it got worse. My hair became so frizzy and dry. I really duno what to do about it now. Anyone can help ?
They finally replied to me, she didnt mention abt the 7 days policy, she jus make some explanation to cover up their own stylists mistakes. But she offered to give me a $50 off hair service voucher. Prior to that, I went to bugis for hair treatment done by the creative stylist, Nana. It looks OK after that, but once I washed my hair, the frizziness came bck, but it was so much better than before. I find nowadays bugis branch became v quiet and the place looks very empty now..
My hair appointment on Wednesday at Chapter 2 (Marina Square) lasted almost 4 hours but it was all worth it I love my new copper locks and reddish-brown highlights! Thanks to Nick and his TLC, the experience was heavenly and I just sat back and enjoyed the glossy magazines while he shampooed, fondled and pampered my hair. Never mind that he had touched up the colour again because my stubborn roots refused to swallow RED. Now Im tempted to try the rebonding that he suggested.
Perhaps its because i had a change of lifestyle. Or maybe its because im starting on a new chapter all over again. I chopped off my hair. Yes i did, despite promising myself to grow it out until Inter exam is over(thats in sept btw). My previous cut at EC House was really bad. Messy and untidy layers that were cut with bad technique. Dry too. I was looking to do something to my hair. Desperately. Almost did hair extensions. But last night, i told myself that i HAD to do something about it today. Either rebond, or dye it. But i i decided to cut it before anything else.
So off i was to Chapter 2 at Marina Square yet. I dare not put my hair in the hands of a cheapo hairstylist anymore. *shudder* I can never decide on 1 hairstylist, so i tried my luck with the creative stylist. Hard luck. Got a lady instead. Its good she suggested to chop off my hair. It was once something i was proud of-usually when its in a ponytail(I remember rachy and debbie touching and caressing them endlessly whenever possibly), but not anymore. I was glad i was willing to part with it. or else id get stuck with messy hair.
No dying at C2. Too ex for my budget. My hairs now the length it was when i decided to cut it short again in Sec 4. A bob, but not a bob. Asymmetrical, but very subtly. Nothing extreme or heavy. Very messy cuts, and im loving it. Only thing is, the layers from EC House are still there as they cannot be corrected. If i dont do anything to them, theyll stick out in all odd directions even with this new style! Sigh
