I took my first yoga class at Clementi and offset 30% of the fees with the free $100 ActiveSG points. The instructor Anna is really nice and pays attention to our limitations. Nice studio and good class size of just over 10. Great experience!
Clementi gym is always too crowded. The machines there looks old and most of them are rusty. The only good thing about there is that they have 2 flat bench for bench press. However, there are too much people and the 2 flat bench are not enough for the people there of course.
Just went to this gym yesterday night (4 Aug) and it was soooooo crowded that the counter staff made me wait for another person to check-out before I could check-in to the gym. Apart from how crowded the place was, the facilities and equipment are rather decent -- they had the requisite barbells, squat rack and bench press, the same of which can't be said for most condo gyms...
One thing I like about Clementi gym is the fact that they have 2 flat bench press... benches (i can't think of a better term lol) compared to other ActiveSg gyms which usually only have one, which was nice as it's usually the most popular exercise at the gym with many people waiting to use them.
Staff were generally quite friendly, and the lady at the counter was very nice when explaining to me and other users why we had to wait for other people to check-out before we could check-in (the place was too damn crowded!).
The only beef i have with Clementi gym is the fact that it's almost always so packed, but I guess that's not exactly their fault. Nonetheless, a crowded gym results in issues such as having to wait longer than the amount of planned rest between sets, which kinda detracts from my experience.
