The Murad brand was popularized by their Murad Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++. It was all the rave by beauty bloggers and YouTubers alike. Previously we could only purchase Murad products online and have them shipped to Singapore, until Sephora brought it to our shores.
The History of Murad
Murad is founded by Dr Howard Murad, a board certified dermatologist who is also recognized as the father of internal skincare. The founder of the Inclusive Health movement, Dr Murad believes in a total body approach to youth building and overall wellness. In 1989, Dr Murad founded Murad Inc. to share his groundbreaking formulas that were among the first to achieve significant measurable anti-aging results without surgery.

If you were to hit the shelves of Sephora, you would realize that the Murad line of products come in 10 different colours. Dr Murad believes in personalized skincare solution, and has came up with 10 distinct product lines to address various skin concerns. Even so, Murad users follow a simple 3-step regimen, and each product will have their order of use clearly indicated on its label.
You can quickly evaluate your skin concerns and have them recommend the best products for you. Try out their Skin Evaluator here.
Murad Facial Spas in Singapore
There are only two spa brands in Singapore that have been authorized to use Murad products for their treatments.
1. Passage New York at Cecil Street
Located in Keck Seng Tower along Cecil Street, Passage New York is a luxury beauty brand known for providing the best in women's lifestyle needs. The boutique is spacious, and has 23 rooms spread over 2 floors. Centrally located in the CBD, Passage New York is one of the most luxurious ladies-only spa in Singapore.
2. Body Contour at Hill Street, Raffles Town Club, RB Capital Building and Roxy Square
One of our writers had the opportunity to drop by the RB Capital Building outlet during Body Contour's Murad launch event last year. The space was cosy and private, rooms were spread over 2 floors as well. The facial room was clean, spacious and comfortable.
The Murad launch event allowed Body Contour's customers to try out the Murad skincare range. A quick 30 to 45 minutes session, the therapist followed Murad's quick 3-step regimen for the trial, and took the chance to educate their customers about the Murad line.
Our writer's concern was dull and tired skin, and the therapist used the Essential C range of products for her. Unlike most citrus products, the Murad's Essential C regmien did not sting (although the therapist did warn of stinging sensation) and smelt like oranges :)
To make an appointment at Body Contour, you can call them at 6841 1141.
If you hold a CIMB Bank credit card, you can choose to try out the Murad Signature Facial (60 mins, worth $180) at Body Contour. Read the Terms & Conditions here.
The Murad Seal of Authenticity and Murad Authorised Resellers in Singapore
All Murad products come with a Seal of Authenticity which is a hologram composed of elements of the Murad logo. Please avoid products that have defaced or tampered seals for your own safety.
Last thing to note - other than Passage New York and Body Contour, only Robinsons and Sephora are authorised to sell Murad products in Singapore. Do take note that warranty of Murad products will not apply to those purchased from unauthorised retailers.
